Here’s a few great audio lectures from Sam Renihan concerning how the biblical covenants fit into redemptive history. He makes a great point in the lecture about the Davidic covenant about how Israel’s desire for a king was actually good, but their reasons were wrong. The third lecture is basically a walk-through of the theological and biblical covenants, covering the covenant of redemption, covenant of works with Adam, the revelation of the covenant of grace, the Noahic, Abrahamic, Mosaic, Davidic, and new covenants. It provides an excellent introductory survey of the scheme of what is coming to be called “1689 Federalism,” for those particularly curious about that. Enjoy!

P.S. I’m curious to see if any of my readers actually tend to download the audio mp3s I link to. I’m able to listen to sermons and lectures all the time at work, but I know others don’t have that luxury. Please comment and let me know if you find anything helpful!
